[ Recently Bass requested some important information. Who... is the strongest Cybertronian on this ship. He received a hot tip that it was 'Shockwave' but also 'not the Senator one'. There were a few thoughts that went through his processor. One... it was really dumb that there were two people here with the SAME NAME. It must get confusing! Two, while he does (surprisingly) know what a Senator is, he has no idea what a Senator looks like. Do they wear signs? Bass guesses probably not.

This leads him to one conclusion: He has to fight BOTH of them to make sure he's actually fighting the strong one.

This leads him to a second conclusion: He has no idea where Shockwave lives. He could ask for direction, ask if anyone knows... but that begs the question... If they know how strong Bass is will they even tell the truth?

There is now one solution: He has to canvas the ship himself and check every inhabited room he comes across.

So there's the backstory. And that's why Bass, armored up in his winged Treble armor (being able to fly covers ground quicker!) is pounding aggressively at your door.

[During a pause in his banging, Bass hears something small crying - unless he's heard a baby before, he might be confused, but when Scorponok slams the door open, a crying bug toddler can be seen on a mat behind him.]

What in the hell?! You woke my daughter from her nap!

[ There's a baby (?) and a caretaker. From his admittedly very limited knowledge of such things baby caretaker = babysitter... nanny.. or mom? ]

Sorry Ma'am I didn't mean to wake up your kid.

[ He's crude and violent but he generally doesn't like causing excessive issues for normal citizen non combatant types. ]

I'm looking to challenge a mech named Shockwave to a fight. If I find him I'll try and tear off a finger or some paneling to give to her as a present to make up for it.

[ Babies MUST like that kind of thing, right? They are spectacularly violent in their inexperience. ]

You should know better than to bang on doors! Didn't anyone tell you we have a baby on the ship? [He stomps over to Aura Froudine and picks her up in his arms as he comfortingly pats her on the back.] There, there, it's nothing scary. No one is going to harm you if they want to live.

[She buries her head into the comforting, hard shoulder of her Dear Father, then points angrily at Bass.]

That's right, he's a bastard. He thinks he can take on Shockwave. Can you believe it? Him, a better gladiator than me? [He chuckles in a sinister manner.]

[ He would have absolutely avoided rooms containing infants he had been. If he remembered which rooms at least. And he's about to leave but oh he can't let that stand. ]

Don't fucking mock me. I won't know until I try. I always test myself against the strongest. Weak opponents won't make me stronger. Do I wanna win? Hell yes. But even if I don't it'll show me where I'm lacking.
